The topic of education in the context of Social justice has been extensively discussed by the Occupy Movement.
In the 2012 State of the Union Address the need to address the rising cost of education was mentioned.
On January 27, 2012 President Barack Obama called for an overhaul of the higher education financial aid system, warning that colleges and universities that fail to control spiraling tuition costs could lose federal funds.
